Georgia's First Annual Publishing Convention This Weekend in Cumming, GA

Publishers, literary agents, and publishing support providers will be sharing their expertise with writers this weekend at Publish15, Georgia's first annual publishing convention. Featuring some big names in book publishing, Publish15 will be held on June 13 and 14 at the Forsyth Conference Center in Cumming, Georgia and is open to the public.

Experts from St. Martin's Press, Bowker, CreateSpace, Morgan James Publishing, Bibliocrunch, Konica Minolta, and many more in the publishing industry will lead workshops and meet with writers during the two-day convention. Writers will also be able to pitch their book to a literary agent, interact with publishers, book printers, and publishing support providers in the exhibition hall, see live demonstrations, and win prizes.

Publish15 will also feature a keynote address by Atlanta-based writer and journalist Josh Levs, author of All In: How Our Work-First Culture Fails Dads, Families, and Businesses - and How We Can Fix It Together, who will give guidance to writers about turning an idea into a book that can make a societal impact, and advice on how to find publishing success. An investigative journalist, expert on modern fatherhood, and dad of three, Levs has spent years reporting for CNN on air and online and serving as the network's "dad columnist." Prior to CNN, he was a reporter for NPR. His many prizes include six Peabody awards, two Edward R. Murrow awards, and a designation as a Journalist of the Year from the Atlanta Press Club.
