Ron Standerfer's 27-year Air Force career spanned from 1954 - 1981. During that time, he flew a variety of high performance fighters and was awarded two Silver Stars, thirteen Air Medals and the Purple Heart. After retiring as a full colonel, Standerfer went on to work as the marketing director for Falcon Jet Corporation and was the owner of an aircraft charter and marketing company. He is also a prolific writer and journalist; his book reviews and syndicated news articles are regularly published online and in print. This is Standerfer's first full-length book.
