In keeping with the below-normal temperatures sweeping the country, Class Act Books has scheduled an appropriate title as its first release of 2015.

Blood Will Freeze by award-winning author Tony-Paul de Vissage, subtitled "A Tale of the Vampire Apocalypse," coincides not only with the weather but also with the 2012 hubbub concerning the ending of the Mayan Calendar.

In 2012, when an asteroid collides with the Earth, the impact awakens vampires long-hidden within the planet's interior. With outside temperatures falling to 150-below, they revive to subdue the survivors but being territorial, are soon squabbling over possession of the planet.

Based on the short story of the same name, this novel is well-written and well-researched and, with the exception of the presence of vampires, details what might possibly happen if such a catastrophe occurred.

Tony-Paul de Vissage has written thirteen eleven novels for Class Act Books. In 2012, he was voted one of the twelve outstanding authors of that year by the Preditors & Editors Readers Poll.

Class Act Books recently celebrated its first year under new ownership and is continuing its goal of matching the genre to the reader and supplying the best titles possible.
