After the successful publication of his two books, The Treehouse and Castles in the Point, author Al Bruno steals the literary spotlight once again as he releases his latest book, The Eve Project. Inspired by his passion for the macabre, especially werewolves, he weaves, a simple, good old-fashioned horror story not just about werewolves, but genetically engineered werewolves. This book gives a fictional historical account of how dogs have been used in wars for thousands of years.

Set in Greenwood Lake, N.Y., in 2012, The Eve Project is an incredible portrayal of man's attempt to play god and create life just like Victor Frankenstein only to have the creation turn against him. In an effort to save the lives of American soldiers in the Middle East, the U.S. Government has created a new weapon, one that kills without remorse, without conscience, without prejudice. They asked for a solution, what they received was a nightmare. Presenting a different and interesting perspective into the werewolf lore, this book is an invitation to all readers to enter, witness and enjoy, with sporadic gasps in between pages, the next stage in the battlefield of warfare-The Eve Project.

This book will introduce the readers to terrific characters that will surely inflame them at every turn. Wilson is a struggling artist who settles for a job at a supermarket. He is a simple man in search of companionship and acceptance into society. Aurora is a Mohawk woman who is the sister of his co-worker. She is a spiritual medium with the gift of foreshadowing future events through dreams. She helps Wilson fight the creatures. Sherriff Jonah Jones Dougherty is the man in charge of Greenwood Lake who loves fishing and hunting with his deputy, Earl Byrd. Colonel Harold Hardaway is the military man overseeing the Eve Project. Sheriff Dougherty and he go at it as the colonel combs the woods of Greenwood Lake in search of the creatures.

In The Eve Project, Bruno has written yet another werewolf classic with a unique twist and rendered it plausible based on scientific research or practices in fertilization, animal experimentation, DNA research, historical events and many others. The book also provides a fictional solution to the conflict in the Middle East by somewhat supernatural means, one that doesn't involve American lives.

"My work spans from psychological thrillers and urban fiction to horror. I believe this can bring out the true essence of a writer, encompassing an expansive gamut of emotions and worldliness. After all, each of us is a proverbial island harnessing a cornucopia of experiences that are exponentially varied. And it is the myriad of life's little subtleties that flow down the arm, through the pen, and manifest themselves onto the paper in eloquent strokes of ink, creating yet another world within our universe." -The Author
