Love, Lies & The Doctors DilemmaA romantic farce.Written by Michael Parker and Susan Parker.Directed by Ian Taylor.Runs three weeks: April 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30 2022Rating: Adult situations and humor.Synopsis: Joan Scheller lives with the great love of her life, Sandy. In an effort to hide their relationship from her overbearing sister-in-law, the former movie star Olivia St. Claire, she introduces him as her psychiatrist. One little white lie leads to another. Before long, Vinny the Enforcer, a quintessential Italian mobster, masquerades as her security guard, while her son, Chris, is forced to wear a dress and become her daughter Christina. Further complications occur when her new neighbor, Rachael, whose life appears to be a series of catastrophes, creates chaos and confusion wherever she goes. The Doctor is in. Has Joan created a monster? Everyone wants a session. Olivia wants to discuss her love life, Rachael wants to know why shes such a disaster, and Vinny wants to discuss his work as an Enforcer. Sandy is forced to listen and give misguided advice, which, to everyones surprise, seems to work. But what about love? Of course theres Joan and Sandy, if they can survive Joans white lies; then theres Rachael, who is strongly attracted to Chris, if he can survive her mayhem. Finally, theres Olivia, who hires Vinny away from the mob to be her personal security guard (with benefits?).Ticket Prices: $15.00. Online ticket sales close two hours prior to each performance. Tickets may be available to purchase at the box office after this time. Doors open one hour prior to play starting.The bar is open before all performances and at intermissions in our lobby. Beer, wine, soda, and water available Thursday-Saturday. May 19, 2020Due to COVID-19, Stage Coach Theatre is rescheduling their production of Love, Lies, and the Doctor's Dilemma to July 17 to August. The new show dates are as follows: July 17-19, 24-26, 30-31; August 1.
