Last year we tested the interesting acoustics of the small church
Biourge, nice showcase in which excelled the Burning quartet. We rééditerons this beautiful moment this year, presenting the project and the album "Resonance" Quentin Dujardin, guitarist and Samuel Cattiau, against-tenor. Born from a meeting between the two musicians, this musical exploration takes us on the tracks of songs and music from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Enjoy works of Johannes Ciconia (1370-1411), by Guillaume de Machaut (1300-1377), Giovanni Legrenzi (1626-1690) but also of Henry Purcell (1659-1695) or Piccinni (1728-1800). A journey through time and space that will resonate in our ears, enchanted to hear poetic works sublimated by a voice and a guitar accomplices. A rare musical moment was cheered in 2014 in the Basilica of Avioth.
To put ourselves in voices of Academy students, we welcome in the courtyard of Castle Biourge where they recreate the world of the troubadours, jugglers and minstrels of the Middle Ages.
