Yaj (soft j like Taj Mahal), for 14 years, has been practicing the art and science of Relationship Counseling as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Certified Imago Relationship Therapist. Seeing couples and individuals in her private practice, she has been close witness to - and facilitator of - profound transformation in people’s lives. Yaj’s work is centered training people to use learnable, reliable tools for having the authentic life we all yearn for, and to experience the power and beauty of living from our Higher Self…all the time…no matter what. Over the past few years, a passion has grown in her for taking the “Dharma talks” she gives to her clients in her Yaj Pod (therapy space) at home, to the arena of performance art and public speaking. She wrote a one-woman show entitled, I Need More Medicine – A Woman’s Journey to God, Motherhood, & Orgasmic Divorce, and performed it at Nyack Village Theatre in Nyack, NY to sold-out audiences. She would like to bring it to a black box in New York City. Her public talks teach communication skills in her passionate, entertaining, and enlightening style.

We were all naked. All 100 or so of us models for the 2nd annual NYC Bodypainting Day-created by artist, Andy Golub. Andy says the event represents 'artistic expression, body acceptance, and the human connection being made by art.' I add body celebration and the human connection department took me to a level I could not have predicted.
