It's time to enter a world of "pure imagination" with SUMMER ARTS INTENSIVE's WILLY WONKA, JR.! This retelling of the classic Roald Dahl book (and its memorable film incarnations), comes to life on the West Fargo Sheyenne High School stage for four performances- June 21 and June 22 at 2PM and 7PM. General admission tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and are available at the door one hour before each performance.

Young Charlie Bucket dreams that he could someday enter the Wonka factory, a chocolate dreamland where Oompa Loompa's roam and nothing is quite what it seems. On one unexpected day, Charlie wins his scrummdidilyumptious, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity by finding one of five golden tickets placed in chocolate bars by the wondrous and bizarre "Candy Man" himself Willy Wonka. As Charlie and the other contest winners wander the factory, they find out what it means to follow the rules and to follow one's heart.

Led by accomplished, local arts educators and professionals committed to quality, individualized training, SUMMER ARTS INTENSIVE is made possible through a collaboration with the West Fargo Public Schools. WILLY WONKA, JR. features a company of 64 middle school actors and technicians and 10 high school mentors from around the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo area. SUMMER ARTS INTENSIVE's seventh season will continue with the rocking and rolling hit musical, GREASE, July 27-August 1.
