VIDEO: Jeremy Jordan Honors Musician with Special TODAY Show Performance

This morning's TODAY show on NBC featured a segment on Ken Conklin, a 25-year-old musician battling a life-threatening immuno-deficiency disorder. To honor him for his strength, Broadway star Jeremy Jordan sang 'Was I A Trouper, Mom?', written by Kathie Lee Gifford and her composing partner David Friedman.

Jordan starred as 'Jimmy' on NBC's SMASH and most recently appeared on the Broadway stage in NEWSIES. He was nominated for a Tony Award for his role as Jack Kelly in the Broadway musical, which he began with Paper Mill Playhouse's U.S. touring production in 2011. Jordan has also appeared in Broadway's Bonnie & Clyde in 2011, as well as Rock of Ages and West Side Story in 2009.
