The Theater People Podcast Welcomes Broadway's Bombshell Megan Hilty

On Monday, February 8th, the Theater People podcast welcomes stage and television star Megan Hilty. Shemade her Broadway debut in 2004 as the Glinda stanby in the Broadway production of WICKED, before she eventually took over the role full time. She also played the role on the First National Tour before creating the role for the Los Angeles sit down production.

Hilty next appeared on Broadway as Doralee in the original production of 9 TO 5. Next, she starred as Ivy Lynn in the NBC musical drama SMASH. She returned to the New York stage in the critically acclaimed 2012 Encores production of GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES. From there, she returned to television in the short-lived NBC sitcom SEAN SAVES THE WORLD. She is currently starring as Brooke Ashton in Roundabout Theatre Company's Noises Off.

For the episode, Hilty discusses balancing work with her life as a new mom, her four-plus years with WICKED, how it changed her life and her takeaways from the experience. She also chats her heartbreak over 9 TO 5 closing too soon, her memories of her two seasons working on SMASH, and her excitement over finally getting to be in GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES, her favorite show of all time.
