Variety reports that a sing-a-long version of the iconic comedy MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL will be released by British distributor Park Circus and Sony Pictures in the U.K. to celebrate the film's 40th anniversary. The film will also be released internationally by Park Circus and in the U.S. by Rainbow Releasing.

The sing-a-long version is set for its first screening on October 14 in over 500 theaters throughout the U.K. The one-night-only showing will also feature a specially filmed introduction from Monty Python's Terry Jones, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin, Eric Idle and John Cleese.

Park Circus is asking theatergoers to arrive to the event dressed as their favorite character from the 1975 comedy. In addition, there will be a new interactive social media campaign in anticipation of the release.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release "Monty Python And The Holy Grail: 40th Anniversary Edition" on Blu-ray this fall.
