STAGE TUBE: Watch Lea Salonga Sing 'A Whole New World' on Tour with Il Divo!

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Tony Award-winning performer and world renowned vocalist Lea Salonga is currently traveling the world with supergroup Il Divo for their "A Musical Affair" tour. The group just made a stop in Vienna, with upcoming performances in Geneva, Zurich, Berlin, Frankfurt, and more, before moving to the UK later this October.

Below, watch Salonga return to her Disney roots with a stunning performance of "A Whole New World"- a song from ALADDIN that she made famous.

Best known for her Tony Award winning role in Miss Saigon, the nightly concerts will be enhanced by Salonga's powerful voice and perfect pitch in both solo performances and duets with the guys. Lea Salonga is a Filipina singer/actress best known for originating the Olivier award-winning role of Kim in the West End production of Miss Saigon, then later bringing it to the Broadway stage for which she won a Tony, among other awards. She was also the first Asian to play Eponine in LES MISERABLES on Broadway, and subsequently returned to the show in 2007 as Fantine.
