BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will be released in U.S. theaters on March 17, 2017. The project refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs from Academy Award winner Alan Menken.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST premiered on Broadway on April 18, 1994 starring Susan Egan and Terrence Mann as the eponymous Belle and Beast, respectively and ran on Broadway for 5,461 performances between 1994 and 2007, BECOMING Broadway's ninth longest-running production in history.
