Over 50 Restaurants Set for TASTE OF TIMES SQUARE, June 1

An annual outdoor food and music festival -- organized by the Times Square Alliance, will offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy international dishes from the district's top restaurants and music from the city's best street performers at Taste of Times Square on Monday, June 1st from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. on 46th St. between Broadway and 9th Avenue and on the Broadway Plazas between 45th and 47th Streets.

Approximately 40 Times Square restaurants representing countries from around the globe will be offering tastes of their signature dishes for as little as $1.

This year, participating restaurants include Applebee's, Azuki (City Kitchen), Barbetta, Bareburger, BB King Blues Club & Grill, Becco, Blue Fin, Bourbon Street Bar & Grille, Brasserie 1605, Buffalo Wild Wings, Carmine's Restaurant, Crossroads American Kitchen & Bar, Da Rosina, Dos Caminos, E&E Grill House, Gabriela's (City Kitchen), Ginger's at Doubletree, Guy's American Kitchen & Bar, Hard Rock Café, Havana Central Restaurant & Bar, Hourglass Tavern, The House of Brews, Ilili Box (City Kitchen), Iron Bar, Joe Allen's, John's of Times Square, Junior's, Meson Sevilla, La Pulperia, Le Rivage, O'Lunney's, Orso ,The Palm Restaurant, Paramount Bar & Grill, Patzeria Perfect Pizza, Paul's on Times Square, Planet Hollywood, Playwright Celtic Pub & Restaurant, Ruby Foo's, The Rum House, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Sangria 46, Sigmund's (City Kitchen), Schnipper's, Shake Shack, Toloache, URBO, The View Restaurant & Lounge, Virgil's Real BBQ, and Whitman's (City Kitchen).

More restaurants will confirm participation as the event date approaches and a final list will be available at www.TimesSquareNYC.org/Taste.

As festival attendees chow down, New York's best street performers will energize the streets with live performances. Admission is free. Each "taste" ticket is $1 which can then be redeemed for dishes, ranging from $1-$6, at each booth. Tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event and in advance starting May 1 at www.TimesSquareNYC.org/Taste.
