Want a Best Actor nod at next year's Oliviers? Get yourself cast in the lead of a Shakespeare play.

Three of this year's four nominees did just that.

There's Jude Law, back in the West End for the Michael Grandage Company and taking on the celebrated warrior-king Henry V.

There's breakout movie star Tom Hiddleston as Coriolanus at the Donmar.

And there's Rory Kinnear, Iago in the National's Othello (but no nomination for the eponymous lead played by Adrian Lester).

The odd man out is veteran Henry Goodman, as the titular gangster in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui at the Duchess Theatre.

All four have been nominated for Oliviers previously (although Law has never won), so these are long-standing awards favourites.

Keep up-to-date on Oliviers night (Sunday 13th April) with BWW:UK's live coverage!
