Legacy Theatre Holds Auditions for ANNIE, 3/13

Auditions for Legacy's summer spectacular, "ANNIE," will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 8:30AM-1:00PM, for those girls wishing to audition for the role of Annie or the female orphans, ages 6-14 only.

Auditions will be held at The Legacy Theatre at 1175 Senoia Rd Tyrone, GA 30290. Those wishing to audition must sing one of four songs from the show: "Hard Knock Life", "Maybe", "Dressed...Smile" or "Tomorrow". All those wishing to be considered for the role of Annie must sing "Tomorrow".

Accepted and recommended cuts of these three songs are available for download at http://www.thelegacytheatre.org/Theatre_Info/auditions.php. Must sing with piano accompaniment, and No CDs or a cappella singing. All auditionees will perform a short dance combination that will be taught at the audition. Professional Auditions

All other females 15 and older and boys of any age can audition on Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 1:30-4:30PM or Monday, March 15, 2010 from 7:00-9:00PM by appointment only. Auditions will be held at The Legacy Theatre at 1175 Senoia Rd Tyrone, GA 30290. Please prepare 16-32 bars of one musical theatre song in the style of Annie and one short comedic monologue. Accompanist will be provided. Recorded accompaniment is fine, player provided. You may be asked to read from the script or sing a selection from the shoW. May be asked to attend a dance callback to be held after the audition. Please bring appropriate attire. Paid positions and apprenticeships available.
