'Last Comic Standing' Comes to Mesa, 9/17
By: Nicole Rosky
Enjoy an evening of great stand-up comedy with the finalists from NBC's popular laughfest "Last Comic Standing," as the official NBC tour comes to Mesa. The tour will make a stop at Mesa Arts Center on Friday, Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. Tickets are on-sale now and can be purchased at mesaartscenter.com or by calling 480-644-6500.
The seventh season of NBC's Emmy-nominated competition series "Last Comic Standing" - hosted by Craig Robinson (NBC's "The Office") - aired this summer on NBC. As with previous seasons, talent scouts in Los Angeles and New York watched performances from aspiring and professional comedians to find the contestants. Each week America voted for the funniest comics until there was one left. The live tour will feature the five finalists: winner Felipe Esparza along with Tommy Johnagin, Roy Wood, Jr., Myq Kaplan and Mike DeStefano.
