It was announced today that Marc Kudisch (9 to 5, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Assassins, Thoroughly Modern Millie), Emily Skinner (Jekyll & Hyde, The Full Monty), Daniel Reichard (Jersey Boys), William Michals (Beauty & the Beast, South Pacific), Manu Narayan (Bombay Dreams), Lisa Howard (9 to 5, South Pacific, Spelling Bee), Sarah Jane McMahon, and Bill Daugherty will be among the more than fifteen Broadway stars that will be performing this year in the 6th Annual Broadway Unplugged Concert at The Town Hall on Monday, November 16th at 8 PM. The concert's musical director, for the sixth consecutive year, will be Ross Patterson. Taking the helm as director will be Scott Coulter.

Broadway Unplugged is the experiement that began six years ago with a concert featuring great singers, singing great songs, but without microphones in a 1,500 seat theater.  Since it's inception, the event has blossomed into a annual celebration. The concert is attended every year by musical theater lovers who crave the sound of the pure human voice and the opportunity to hear great Broadway music the way it was originally performed, with nothing between the singer and the audience except the truth.

Scott Siegel, the creator/writer/host of Broadway Unplugged said, in a statement, "Despite the treacherous economy, we are going ahead with a concert that has, over its short lifetime, become a musical theater tradition every Fall. We intend to put on a great show, with big stars, wonderful show tunes, and absolutely no electronic amplification. This is the concert where today's Broadway
stars show they've got the same kind of chops as the old timers did. I'm announcing only a modest number of stars now because I want to build toward November 16th with increasing anticipation for what I expect will be yet another exciting night full of musical theater fireworks. So, look for more names to come before the big night."

Tickets are $75 for the orchestra, $50 for the front balcony, and $25 for the rear balcony. Tickets may be purchased via TicketMaster at 212-307-4100 or at TicketMaster.com, as well as the Town Hall Box Office at 123 West 43rd St. between noon and 6 PM every day but Sunday.

Broadway Unplugged is sponsored, in part, by Edith & Ervin Drake, Peter & Barbara Leavy, Jill & Irwin Cohen, TheaterMania, Trattoria Dopo Teatro, The Edythe Kenner Foundation, Thoroughbred Records, Steven Ernst, Stuart Bloom & Robert Aaron: Lightstyles, LLC.
