NBA TV announced the winners of the 2013 NBA Social Media Awards presented by SAP during a one-hour show last evening, Wednesday, June 12, which celebrated NBA players, teams and fans for their social engagement during the 2012-13 NBA season. The Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant took home two awards - the "Social MVP Award" and the "140 Award" for the best use of characters in a tweet.

The Miami Heat's Harlem Shake video, which has received more than 45 million views, won the "OMG Award" for the team with the best video shared via social. Additional winners included Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook receiving the "#Trendsetter Award," and Portland's Damian Lillard accepting the "Social Rook of the Year Award."
