For Harrison Ford, age is nothing but a number.

In a new interview with Metro, the long-time screen star confirmed he'd be more than willing to pick up the bullwhip once more and reprise his role as the famed Indiana Jones.

"I would do it in a New York minute. I don't think there is any barrier to Indiana Jones being an old fart," Ford said. "I'm old enough that we don't need Connery anymore. I'm old enough to play my own father!"

Ford hasn't hid his desire for a fifth Indy outing. In August, he told The Telegraph:

"We've seen the character develop and grow over a period of time and it's perfectly appropriate and okay for him to come back again with a great movie around him where he doesn't necessarily have to kick as much ass," said Ford. "To me, what was interesting about the character was that he prevailed, that he had courage, that he had wit, that he had intelligence, that he was frightened and that he still managed to survive. That I can do."

Ford is also all-but confirmed to return to the franchise that launched his career in STAR WARS: EPISODE VII, helmed by J.J. Abrams. Since portraying Solo in the early '80's, Ford has been featured in the Indiana Jones franchise, as well as such films as Blade Runner, The Fugutive, Sabrina, Witness, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger and Air Force One.
