FAMILY GUY's Brian Expected to Make Return Appearance, 12/15

While Family Guy fans are still in mourning over the demise of beloved Griffin pet Brian in the November 24th episode of the FOX animated series, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the canine will reappear in the upcoming December 15th holiday episode. The network has declined to comment on the report.

How exactly Brian, voiced by series creator Seth MacFarlane, will come back from the beyond is not certain, but according to the report, he will continue to play a role in the series.

The Griffins beloved family dog died passed away after 11 seasons on the animated comedy series . The wise cracking canine was hit by a car in the episode and died from his injuries.

According to FOX's official synopsis of the December 15th episode:

When Carter Pewterschmidt cancels the annual Quahog Christmas carnival, because he hates the holiday, Peter must transform his father-in-law from a Scrooge into a hometown hero in order to salvage the event. Meanwhile, Stewie devises a master plan to get the one and only thing he wants for Christmas in the all-new "Christmas Guy" episode of Family Guy airing Sunday, Dec. 15 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
