Emmy Rossum and Justin Long Join COMET

According to Deadline, Emmy Rossum and Justin Long have joined the indie romantic comedy Comet, written and directed by Sam Esmail for Milestone Media. Comet is set in a parallel universe and follows the ins and outs of a couple's six-year relationship.

"Comet is about the drama, comedy and utterly surreal state of heartbreak: a subject in which I am well versed," Esmail said.

Rossum will next appear in You're Not You and Way Down South. Her other film credits include Beautiful Creatures, Dare, Poseidon, The Phantom of the Opera, The Day After Tomorrow, Mystic River, Nola, Passionada, Happy Now, It Had to Be You and more. She has also starred on TV in Shameless as 'Fiona Gallagher'.

Justin Long's upcoming projects include The Lookalike and Undiscovered Gyrl. He last appeared in In Case Of You, which he co-wrote and acted as producer. Other film credits include Best Man Down, The Conspirator, He's Just Not That Into You, Zack and Miri Make a Porno and more. Long has also appeared in the TV series Unsupervised, New Girl and Ed.
