Danny Glover Joins Kiefer Sutherland in TOUCH

According to the Hollywood Reporter, stage and screen star Danny Glover will join previously announced Kiefer Sutherland in the new Fox pilot, TOUCH. The pilot was written by Tim Kring.

The series is about a father who discovers that his autistic, mute son can predict events before they happen. As described by THR, Glover will star as 'Arthur DeWitt, a professor who works with gifted children.'

Glover is best known for playing Los Angeles police Sergeant Roger Murtaugh in the Lethal Weapon series of action films. During his career, he has made many cameo appearances. For example, he appeared in the Michael Jackson video Liberian Girl of 1987. He has also appeared as the husband to Whoopi Goldberg's character Celie in The Color Purple, and as Lieutenant James McFee in the film Witness. In 1994 he made his directorial debut with the Showtime channel short film Override. In 1982 he starred in the Broadway production of MASTER HAROLD..AND THE BOYS.
