LOVE LETTERS star and Broadway vet Carol Burnett will stop by NBC's 'Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' tonight, October 6th. Other guests for the broadcast include Jeremy Renner and celebrity chef Mario Batali. Joe Perry sits-in with the show's house band The Roots.

The strictly limited engagement of Burnett & Brian Dennehy in the Broadway production of Love Letters at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) was recently extended for two additional performances: Saturday, November 8 at 2pm and 8pm.

LOVE LETTERS began performance Saturday, September 13, at 8pm, and tickets are now on sale at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre box office for the first Broadway revival of A.R. Gurney's enduring romance about first loves and second chances.

A finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, A.R. Gurney's Love Letters became an instant smash hit that was performed all over the country. The universality of the piece quickly led to the play being translated into 24 languages. In the last 26 years, productions of Love Letters have played in over 40 countries around the world.

Directed by Gregory Mosher, Love Letters will begin performances on Saturday, September 13, 2014 and officially open Thursday, September 18, 2014, at 7pm, starring Brian Dennehy and Mia Farrow in a strictly limited engagement. The Dennehy/Farrow cast of Love Letters will be followed by limited engagements of casts that will include Carol Burnett & Brian Dennehy, Alan Alda & Candice Bergen, Stacy Keach & Diana Rigg, Anjelica Huston & Martin Sheen, with many more talented actors to be announced soon. Diana Rigg is appearing with the support of Actors' Equity Association. Love Letters is produced by Nelle Nugent, Barbara Broccoli, Frederick Zollo, Olympus Theatricals, Colleen Camp and Kenneth Teaton in association with Lou Spisto, Daniel Frishwasser, Jon Bierman and Scott Lane.

LOVE LETTERS has scenic design by two-time Tony Award winner John Lee Beatty, costume design by Tony Award winner Jane Greenwood, lighting design by Tony Award winner Peter Kaczorowski and casting by Telsey + Company (William Cantler, CSA and Andrew Femenella, CSA).

LOVE LETTERS is a disarmingly funny and unforgettably emotional portrait about the powerful connection of love. Two friends, rebellious Melissa Gardner and straight-arrow Andrew Makepeace Ladd III have exchanged notes, cards and letters with each other for over 50 years. From second grade, through summer vacations, to college, and well into adulthood, they have spent a lifetime discussing their hopes and ambitions, dreams and disappointments, and victories and defeats. But long after the letters are done, the real question remains: Have they made the right choices or is the love of their life only a letter away?
