Sony Pictures Animation's CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 is gobbling some healthy portions at this weekend's box office with $9.1 million on Friday and a forecast of $35 million by Sunday.

For the original report, head on over to Deadline.

MEATBALLS 2 features a star-studded voice cast, including Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan, Will Forte, Kristen Schaal, Terry Crews, Andy Samberg, Neil Patrick Harris and Benjamin Bratt.

Ron Howard's RUSH from Imagine and Universal is sitting at No. 2 in its second week with $3.6 million on Friday and aiming for $10.8 for the weekend.

Two-time Academy Award winner Howard teams once again with two-time Academy Award-nominated writer Peter Morgan on RUSH, a big-screen re-creation of the legendary '70s Formula 1 rivalry between James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) and Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl).

Searchlight's BAGGAGE CLAIM, with Paula Patton, Taye Diggers and Jill Scott, and Relativity's DON JON, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Scarlett Johansson, opened head-to-head this weekend with $3.2 million apiece on Friday. Both romantic comedies are looking toward a $9.5 million draw by Sunday.
