Broadway's Terron Brooks Joins The Company Men

The Company Men, America's favorite mash-up group and nationally recognized pop vocal group, announced the addition of their newest member today, Terron Brooks. An accomplished singer, songwriter and actor, Brooks brings to the group a wealth of performing experience from Broadway ("Simba" in Disney's LION KING and "Seaweed" in HAIRSPRAY) to performing alongside some of the hottest names in music such as Stevie Wonder, Peter Cetera, Josh Groban and Phil Collins.

Brooks was recently featured in the world premieres of SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE: THE MUSICAL and FIRST WIVES CLUB: THE MUSICAL. He has been featured on numerous film and TV soundtrack albums including HAIRSPRAY (New Line), TEARS FROM THE SUN (Sony), THE ADVENTURES OF BRER RABBIT (Universal), and ABC's GEPETTO. As a guest artist for the Atlanta, Colorado, and Taiwan Symphony Orchestras, Terron has sung the classic songs of Disney.

On the announcement Brooks added: "I'm extremely proud and happy to begin 2016 with my new bandmates Stuart, Brian and Shawn. I'm looking forward to this new journey with The Company Men to bring inspiring, first-rate entertainment to music lovers across the country."

A two-time NAACP Award nominee for supporting actor, Brooks is best remembered for his critically acclaimed portrayal of Eddie Kendricks in the Emmy Award winning NBC mini-series THE TEMPTATIONS.

Brooks replaces founding member of The Company Men, Daniel Tatar, who left the group last fall to pursue other creative interests.

The Company Men have appeared on numerous national and regional television shows, including Hallmark's Home and Family and the PBS Holiday Celebration to name a few. Unlike any other four-man vocal group touring today, The Company Men uniquely interweave today's Top 40 hits with re-imagined classics of the last six decades by blending songs by your favorite artists, including Sam Smith, The Four Tops, Michael Jackson, Katy Perry, Adele, The Temptations, Billy Joel, Prince, Meghan Trainor, Bruno Mars, Michael Buble? and many more. Their show brings audiences a staggering 50+ songs in just 90 minutes. In 2014 the group released their first album of original material titled #throwbackPOP. The album received critical acclaim and drew from musical influences of the last six decades.
