On May 25, 7:30 pm, the Austrian Cultural Forum New York presents a free concert of world premieres by the Austrian composers Christof Ressi, Belma Beslic-Gal and Alexander Kaiser, and the American composers Kurt Rohde, Gilbert Galindo and Hiroya Miura. The program "CONNECTIONS: Austria-America" is performed by the vibrant young ensemble mise-en ("something fresh for your ears" - Time Out New York).

"We are very excited about the return of ensemble mise-en to the ACFNY," says Christine Moser, the director of the Austrian Cultural Forum New York. "The program is a fascinating juxtaposition of works, composed thousands of miles apart, that demonstrates both the diversity and commonality of these Austrian and American composers."

Moon Young Ha, ensemble mise-en's Artistic Director, says, "With so many people from such different cultural backgrounds coming together to put on one concert, this program truly captures the spirit of ensemble mise-en's CONNECTIONS Series."

The concert is on Wednesday, May 25, 7:30 pm at the ACFNY, 11 East 52nd Street in New York City. Admission is free, and reservations, viawww.afcny.org or 212-319-5300 ext 222, are required.
