The forest of Grimm
The company LA machine presents the forest of Grimm, a show inspired by the atmosphere of fairy tales collected by Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm, through the musical piece "Ma Mère l´Oye" of the composer Maurice Ravel. The work is performed with live piano through physical theatre, puppetry and video scene for a child and family audience from 5 years. The work is articulated through the suite for piano Ma Mère l´Oye, composed by Maurice Ravel as a stylized recreation of children's stories. These pieces act as an evocative language that describes the atmosphere and highlights of some of the traditional tales more known and which have been passed from generation to generation: little Red Riding Hood, Tom Thumb, snow white or Cinderella. The show performed by Joaquín Casanova and Elisa Ramos creators of the machine is a return to innocence in a delicate work that will delight the viewer in a contemporary review of folk tales we all know through music. Since its premiere in 2012 the show has gone through the most important theatres in Spain and the most demanding schedules as the Teatro Real of Madrid.
