Modern India, Debashish Bhattacharya's ground-breaking World Music band features the master slide guitarist in a contemporary group with acoustic guitar, bass, tabla, and drums. Along with the extraordinary vocals of Debashish's daughter, Anandi, the group's unique arrangements modernize classical Indian melodies and rhythms with multiple levels of percussion and lightning-fast group unison solos.
