A dedicated group of Adelaide based musicians has created Australia's largest scale Pink Floyd concept show entitled EXPERIENCE FLOYD; a three hour sound and light extravaganza playing at Thebarton Theatre, 20 November 7.30pm.

Several years in development EXPERIENCE FLOYD comprises an eleven-piece band whose aim is to authentically replicate the brilliant sights and sounds of arguably one of the world's greatest progressive rock bands of all time, Pink Floyd.

The show features all the hits from Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall and Wish You Were Here performed by Daniel Hunter on lead guitar; Jason Miller on drums; Mark Dole on bass; Paul Bindig on keyboards and synthesisers; Mark MacNab on rhythm and acoustic guitar and Matt Goodluck on lead vocals. The band also features the talents of Jo Christie, Maria Stone and Lauren Grant on backing vocals, Greg Huxtable on keyboard and saxophone and Alan Bindig on 3rd guitar.

More than twenty students from the Immanuel Primary School will join the EXPERIENCE FLOYD band on stage singing a medley from the famous Pink Floyd album, The Wall as recorded by the original Pink Floyd band in Britain in 1979.

EXPERIENCE FLOYD'S Daniel Hunter said, 'We respect what the original Pink Floyd gave to the world with their music and we want to make it real for the audience who may not have had a chance to experience a Pink Floyd concert. We aim to ensure every aspect of the original Pink Floyd music is captured authentically.'

Bass guitarist Mark Dole said, 'At core, we are looking at the legacy of the music. Our vision and desire is to keep their music alive so they will be remembered in years to come. We want to stand up as the next representatives of these guys' in the 21st century, by becoming the truly authentic Pink Floyd concept show for Australia.'

Such is the nature and complexity of Pink Floyd music that the band spent nearly two years gaining members and was constantly rehearsing and improving, until their first gig in June 2011. Between then and now there have been a few line-up changes and a re-branding which occurred in October 2014, when EXPERIENCE FLOYD was born.

Tickets for EXPERIENCE FLOYD are $85 (including booking fee) and may be purchased through Ticketmaster.
