There are just two days to go until the 2011 Olivier Awards ceremony, and we at BWW:UK are already very excited - if nervous for the nominees.

So how are the nominees themselves feeling?

"We're very excited!" say the company of Love Never Dies, up for Best New Musical. Leading lady Sierra Boggess, nominated as Best Actress in a Musical, goes even further: "SO SO SO SO SO excited! Just bought myself a pair of Louboutins for the occasion!" (We'll be lurking on the red carpet on Sunday, Sierra, so we'll snap the snazzy shoes then...)

The leads of nominated Love Story, recently closed at the Duchess, are both up for best leads in a musical. "What an honour to be there and how exciting to be singing with such an incredible orchestra!" says Emma Williams. Co-star Michael Xavier, who's also nominated for best supporting performance in a musical for his turn in Into The Woods, adds: "In the words of Little Red Riding Hood in Into The Woods, I'm 'excited, well, excited and scared!'"

Legally Blonde, also up for Best New Musical, has its original cast leads nominated too - BWW:UK Award-winner Sheridan Smith, and Alex Gaumond, who says: "Very excited about Sunday but considerably nervous as well. A real cocktail of emotions..."

The rest of the West End are behind their colleagues, and particularly excited about the coverage the awards are getting this year. "Finally it's getting the coverage it deserves," says Paul Spicer, formerly Princeton/Rod in Avenue Q.

And as for theatre fans, they're looking forward to seeing the stellar performances, but also have their favourites tipped to win. On Twitter, @mrjaytee says: "backing sweet charity on Sunday, a real crime that @mouthwaite [Tamzin Outhwaite] and @marktheumbers [Mark Umbers] were not nominated!" @Danielf90 adds: "I'm supporting Tracie Bennett for best actress & Sarah Goldberg for best supporting acress! Both astonishing!"

BWW:UK will have extensive coverage of Sunday night's Olivier Awards, as well as the run-up and the aftermath.
