Look Back in Anger by John Osbourne, directed by Maria Chiorando will be presented by CandyKing Theatre on the 2nd -7th September 2008- Tues - Sat at 7.30pm and Sun at 4pm. The show will perform at GREENWICH PLAYHOUSE,Greenwich Station Forecourt, 189 Greenwich High Road, LONDON SE10 8JA.

This landmark play, a true example of the "angry young man" genre tells the story of a twisted love triangle, friendship, anger and apathy.  Jimmy, a disillusioned and disenfranchised man, lives with his wife, Alison, and his friend Cliff, with whom he runs a sweet stall.  He is given to frequent bursts of rage, uncontrollable and intense.

When Alison's friend Helena comes to stay, she challenges Jimmy's outbursts, bringing a new dynamic to the claustrophobic household, causing chaos and affecting the relationships between them all.

 Look Back in Anger premiered in 1956 in London's Royal Court Theatre. The cast features Brett Harris, Fiona Rose Boylan, Philip John, Laura Corcoran, Julian Bird.
