WICKED, the record-breaking hit musical at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre, is getting ready for a Wicked Halloween at its fourth annual WICKED DAY. A weekend of Halloween festivities culminates with WICKED DAY, an international event that celebrates the show and raises funds for good causes in the local community.

This year's WICKED DAY event will take place in The Lawrence Hall at the Royal Horticultural Halls, London on Sunday 1 November from 12 noon to 6pm. WICKED DAY will feature a host of WICKED and Halloween-themed free events including competitions, performances, face-painting, fancy dress, workshops and a range of activities suitable for people of all ages. Members of the WICKED cast will be taking part.

All proceeds from WICKED DAY will be donated to a project between WICKED and Magic 105.4's charity Cash For Kids to build a community garden in a deprived area of London. WICKED and Cash for Kids will continue to work together to raise money to build the garden over the next 12 months and WICKED DAY is the launch of this joint charity project.

Also, on Saturday 31 October have a WICKED Halloween at Westfield London! To celebrate Westfield London's first birthday, Westfield London is turning a WICKED shade of green for Halloween 2009. Visit Westfield London between 12 noon and 5pm for face-painting, competitions, performances by members of the cast and prizes for the best Halloween costumes. All of this activity will lead up to a WICKED CACKLE Halloween World Record attempt led by members of the cast with as many shoppers as possible. All money raised on this day will go towards both the WICKED/Cash for Kids community garden project and Help a London Child.

Michael McCabe, Executive Producer of WICKED in London, said: "We are pleased to support Magic 105.4's fantastic Cash For Kids charity. Young people have played a significant part in the phenomenal success of WICKED and the central character of Elphaba has proved to be an incredible role model for them. Her determination to remain true to herself and to those around her, despite everything that happens to her in the story, makes her a genuine and inspiring hero. It's important for all of us involved in the show to be raising funds for Cash For Kids in order to support and enrich the lives of young people in the region"
