Directed by Robert Hutchens, Dark of the Moon by Howard Richardson and William Berney tells the story of John, the Witch Boy, who falls in love with a human, Barbara Allen. The play is a blend of folklore, fantasy, and Appalachian culture that includes many musical numbers from square dances to mountain ballads to hymns.
