Tickets Now On Sale for HIGHTIDE FESTIVAL 2013
HighTide Festival Theatre has produced over forty-five new productions, working with leading theatres such as The National Theatre, Old Vic, Headlong, Public Theatre New York and the Bush Theatre to stage work by newly emerging playwrights across the UK and internationally. This is our seventh Festival in Halesworth, Suffolk 2-12 May with an extraordinary array of new plays, music, comedy and readings.
Festival Artistic Director Steven Atkinson said, 'The programme for our seventh festival is our most diverse and strongest to date. This is the first time that all the major productions, of which there are five this year, have lives beyond Suffolk, with transfers already confirmed with the Soho and Bush Theatres, to Southampton, and on tour. 'See it here first' is our moto for the year.
The festival is also acting as a showcase to brilliant new touring work, such as Michaela Cole's Alfred Fagon Award winning Chewing Gum Dreams and Eastern Angles' latest production. And rounding off our 'total festival' experience, we have talks, late night comedy and music.'
