The Marlowe Theatre this week welcomed its two millionth customer.

Eunice Fisher is a regular at the Canterbury venue, along with daughter Alison Joy and friend Corinne Poynter. The trio, all from Faversham, are pictured with Funny Girl stars Natasha J Barnes and Darius Campbell, after the Thursday matinee. *

Mrs Fisher has been coming to The Marlowe for many years and enjoys a variety of shows, but mainly musicals. She said: "We love getting the new brochures when they come out and deciding what we want to see in the months ahead - I can honestly say we've never been to a bad show."

Two million customers is an impressive milestone according to Theatre Director Mark Everett, who added: "This has been achieved in just over five-and-a-half years since we opened and I'm so pleased that our audiences continue to enjoy what we put on, including the new work at The Marlowe Studio, and support us. Thank you to all of them, and especially to Eunice!"
