The Albany Hosts Weekend Run of FEEL

The Albany Studio is hosting a weekend run of acclaimed London Fringe company, Proforça with their production of FEEL on Friday 15 & Saturday 16 June.

This brand-new comedy drama comes from a successful run on the London Fringe and tells the story of a world where love can be swiped on a whim and when the path of life can be determined by the delay of just one train, asking the question, is there ever the right time to say what you really feel?

Described as being a coming-of-age tale for grown-ups, FEEL has received rave reviews on the London Fringe and is being brought to The Albany by its Coventry-born director, David Brady:

"Sometimes there's a project which really captures your imagination and drives you forward with a real sense of excitement and the cast have captured that - first they'll make you laugh, then they'll make you fall in love with them, and then they'll break your heart. You may need to bring tissues!"

FEEL is written by James Lewis and tells a story about the search for fulfilment, second-hand love, the hope of one day becoming something better, following your heart and giving it away to someone else. David Brady continues:

"It's such a great play: relatable characters that you can really invest in telling a universal human story. There's been a fantastic response from our London audiences but I'm excited about bringing the play to my home city - there's something really satisfying about bringing new writing into Coventry's newest theatre space."

Featuring original music written by Jason Baker specifically for the production, FEEL runs at The Albany Studio with performances on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 June at 7.30pm. Tickets are £14.

The Albany Studio is also playing host to a variety of other events throughout the summer: as a gallery for the Coventry College art students' final show from Tuesday 19 June, a Vintage, Retro & Costume Sale from 11am - 4pm on Sunday 24 June and following in July, the hilarious and poignant double bill, FUNNY FACES about the lives and loves of two of Britain's iconic comedy legends, Joan Sims and Sid James.
