SimG Productions Presents Stiles & Drewe's ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN! at St. James Theatre, July 25
On Friday 25th July at 1.30pm, at the St James Theatre, SimG Productions presents a workshop presentation of a new musical revue where 'Anything Can Happen!', specifically created to celebrate the diverse repertoire of the Olivier award-winning British writing team George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.
Featuring song medleys from their hit shows spanning 30 years of their writing partnership; songs that deal with growing up, unrequited love, relationships, parenthood, hopes and dreaming big ... and even a pig! Carefully selected from their acclaimed musicals including Just So, Honk!, Peter Pan, Betty Blue Eyes, Soho Cinders, additional songs written for Mary Poppins, plus cut songs and stand alone material. The revue also chronicles the history of 'Stiles & Drewe'; told through narration and song, chronologically in reverse, so we finish with two fresh-faced 21 year olds, George & Anthony, meeting over the photocopier at Exeter University!
With music by George Stiles, lyrics by Anthony Drewe, musical direction and arrangements by Sarah Travis, and directed by Simon Greiff who also conceived the project.
This exclusive workshop presentation will feature four West End performers (to be announced), and is a unique opportunity to witness the very first showcase of a brand new musical revue. There are only 100 seats available to the public, so booking early is advised. Tickets only £15.
