A second Jason Manford date at Parr Hall has been announced after huge demand for the first.

Tickets to see the popular comedian and TV and radio presenter sold fast last week so another performance has been booked in for Wednesday 25 April at 7.30 p.m. (£27.50 - tickets and information - 01925 442345 | www.pyramidparrhall.com.)

It's been a busy few years for Jason since his last smash-hit stand up tour but fans of his Absolute Radio show will know this nationally-acclaimed comedian hasn't changed a bit.

Muddle Class will feature a wealth of new material about the comedian growing up "working class" then finding over the years that part of him has become "middle class" - causing much confusion!

Delivered with Jason's amiable charm and captivating wit, this is a show not to be missed.

Jason said: "Somebody said to me on my Facebook fan page, 'it's been ages since you've toured'. I thought, 'no way, it was last year wasn't it?'

"Anyway, long story short, they were right: it was years ago! I just got fooled because I've been on tour doing musicals and the last tour is repeated on Dave Ja Vu 13 times a day!

"So I've been putting some stuff together, looking at my life and how it's changed over the years, how the world has changed and how my parents haven't changed a bit!

"It's going to be a great tour and I can't wait to see you there."

Jason has become one of Britain's top comedians thanks to appearances on Channel 4's 8 Out of 10 Cats, ITV1's The Nightly Show, The Royal Variety Performance and Sunday Night at the Palladium, BBC One's Live at the Apollo and Have I Got News for You, and BBC Two's QI.

Tickets for the second date go on sale on Friday 28 April at 10am and tickets to the original performance on Wednesday 11 April 2018 are on sale now.

Pyramid & Parr Hall are two of the North West's leading arts and entertainment venues for music, comedy, dance, drama and much more. The venues have played host to big name acts including John Bishop, The Stone Roses, Billy Ocean, Jools Holland and Peter Kay to name a few.

Parr Hall is a listed building and has been a long standing feature of Warrington's cultural scene since its opening in 1895. It is a medium sized concert venue with 1000 seats. Pyramid opened in 2002, with support from Arts Council England and the National Lottery, as an arts centre focusing on smaller performances and community events. It offers a range of spaces to hire for events, weddings and conferences.

The venues are run by Culture Warrington which is a charitable trust that was established in May 2012 to also manage Warrington Museum & Art Gallery and cultural events across the town including Warrington Festival and Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival.
