SAPPHO...IN 9 FRAGMENTS Extends Sold Out Run, Feb 3

Second Skin Theatre's production of Sappho... in 9 fragments by Jane Montgomery Griffiths has garnered unprecedented success with a sold-out run at the White Rabbit Theatre, which has been extended for an extra week to accommodate an overwhelming request for tickets.
Entombed in a secluded cavern, Ancient Greece's first love poet weaves a tale of Sapphic proportions, lamenting the disintegration of her work and positioning herself as the subject of affection in a modern-day backstage romance with a chorus girl named Atthis. But her memories are fragmented, and while she strives to realise the heights of passion, she finds that the sublime might be just beyond her reach...
