HOME's Theatre 2 season continues with Bootworks Theatre's production of Now Listen To Me Very Carefully, a semi-autobiographical piece about one man's hilarious obsession with Terminator 2.
Andy reckons he's watched director James Cameron's classic sci-fi action thriller Terminator 2 roughly 238 times, which translates to almost a month of his 28 years sat in front of it. So he knows it fairly well, and as a teenager, Terminator 2 was all he had to guide him through his adolescence...
Using stand-up comedy, storytelling and participation, Andy transports the audience back to that delicate and innocent age when girls were a mystery, make-believe was everything, and the future was, well, yet to be written.
Theatre-goers can get the full-on Arnie experience by taking in both Now Listen To Me Very Carefully on stage and The Terminator on the big screen on Saturday 9 July.
Arnold Schwarzenegger plays a cyborg sent from the future whose main task is to change the course of history by assassinating Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), pregnant with a son who will grow up to become the key to saving humankind.
In addition, Bootworks conclude their stay at HOME with three performances of The Many Doors of Frank Feelbad, a brand-new show for children (and their accompanying grown-ups) on Sunday 10 July, at 11:00, 13:00, and 15:00.
