Moscow City Ballet Will Return to The Lyceum with SWAN LAKE in January
Following their triumphant Silver Anniversary Tour, Moscow City Ballet return to the Lyceum Theatre in the New Year, with their enchanting production of ballet classic Swan Lake from Tuesday 6 - Saturday 10 January 2015.
Performed in its original splendour and to Tchaikovsky's well-loved score, Swan Lake tells the epic story of Prince Siegfried and his doomed love for the beautiful Odette, who has been transformed into a swan by evil sorcerer Von Rothbart.
Tchaikovsky's 'big story ballets' are the essence of Russian culture and Moscow City Ballet's performances repeatedly win rave reviews internationally with their stunning costumes, sumptuous sets and outstanding virtuoso performances. Audiences will marvel at the perfection of this production and the young and talented cast who dance gracefully to this well-known music played by the Moscow City Ballet Orchestra.
Swan Lake visits the Lyceum Theatre from Tuesday 6 January - Saturday 10 January 2015. Tickets are on sale now, priced from £18.00 - £35.00 and can be purchased in person at Sheffield Theatres' Box Office, by calling 0114 249 6000 or online at sheffieldtheatres.co.uk. A transaction fee of £1.50 (£1.00 online) applies to all bookings made at the Box Office, excluding cash.
