Following their 2016 production of Made In Dagenham, West Bromwich Operatic Society return to the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre stage this month with ROCK OF AGES THE MUSICAL.

ROCK OF AGES is the ultimate rock mix-tape musical, an hilarious story of dreams, love and - of course - rock. A celebration of classic 80s rock culture, the show tells the story of a small town girl and a big city rocker falling in love to the greatest songs of the decade.

Playing Drew is David Walters from Pendeford, Olivia Jones stars alongside him as Sherrie.

Simon Pugh plays Lonny, Greg Yates is Dennis Dupree, Lyndon Flavell is Stacee Jaxx, Sarah Moors plays Justice, Simon Peacock is Hertz Klinemann, George Stuart will play Franz Klinemann, Emma Wetherall is Regina, Elliot Mann is the Mayor, Salli Gage is Jackie Gill and Katie Walker is Constance. The cast is completed by a talented ensemble of local performances.

ROCK OF AGES opened on Broadway in 2009 and in London's West End in 2011. The musical was made into a film in 2012 starring Tom Cruise and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Tickets for ROCK OF AGES are on sale and available from the Grand Theatre Box Office by visiting in person, calling 01902 42 92 12 or visiting grandtheatre.co.uk.

Warning: this show may unleash your inner Rock God, and have you reaching for your air guitar in the aisles.
