Fenella Fielding Cheers On The TWANG!! Cast and Shares Her Memories

Fenella Fielding visited the Union Theatre last week to watch smash-hit comedy musical 'Twang!!' Miss Fielding is currently rehearsing for her delightful memoirs reading 'Do You Mind If I Smoke?' taking place at Brasserie Zédel this Saturday, 5th May.

The remarkable actress who appeared in Carry On film classics including 'Carry On Screaming' laughed, clapped and cheered at the up-and-coming 'Carry On' comedy stars of today. After the show Miss Fielding met the cast and congratulated each of them. "They are all wonderfully talented and have worked so hard," she remarked, "Today the past and present have united which is really lovely. Wonderful to see this well-written comedy, a professional talented company and unique characters." The overjoyed cast commented on twitter: "What an amazing day yesterday to have #CarryOn royalty in the audience!"

'Twang!!' runs at the Union Theatre, Southwark, until Saturday 5th May and Fenella Fielding will read extracts from her fascinating memoirs 'Do You Mind If I Smoke?' at Brasserie Zédel this Saturday, 5th May at 2:00 p.m. - her book and audio book will be on sale at the event and Miss Fielding will be available to sign copies. To conclude, there will be a short Q&A with Simon McKay, co-author of the book.
