He's putting the 'pan' in to panto at the Epstein Theatre this year - but ahead of that the boy who never grew up flew in to the city to greet festive fans at the Liverpool ONE Christmas lights switch-on.

Peter Pan and fellow panto cast members including dastardly Captain Hook, wand-waving Tinkerbell and the Darling family's hilarious Cook, dropped in from Neverland last night to help take the annual seasonal extravaganza to another level.

Pop star and TV personality Dane Bowers, who plays Pan's arch enemy Hook in LHK Productions' stunning seasonal show, Joanne Harper, who is starring as Wendy Darling, and Lewis Pryor who stars as Peter Pan all showed off their amazing vocal skills in live performances at the event.

Michael Chapman - who writes and directs as well as starring as the Darling's Cook, and Radio City 2's Claire Simmo who plays Tinkerbell, were also there to sprinkle a little extra magic fairy dust over the enchanting evening.

Thousands of people flocked to Liverpool One to see the shopping area's popular annual Christmas lights switch-on. At the heart of the event is Liverpool ONE's towering Christmas tree, while the evening also featured Christmas Belles on stilts, 7ft robins and a magical journey through the night before Christmas.

Peter Pan is at the Epstein Theatre from Friday 8 December 2017 until Monday 1 January 2018.

The exciting festive line-up is led by Another Level's Dane Bowers as villainous Captain Hook.

Another Level were one of the most successful boy bands of the 90s, achieving several platinum selling albums and singles, including the iconic Freak Me. Following the bands split in 2000, Dane went on to score two UK top 10 singles as a solo artist with Buggin and Out Of Your Mind, before establishing himself as a DJ in both the UK and abroad!

He was runner up on Celebrity Big Brother, demonstrated his culinary skills winning Celebrity Come Dine With Me, and took part in ITV's The Big Reunion which saw him form a supergroup boy band with the likes of Gareth Gates.

Meanwhile Liverpool's own Lewis Pryor, who made the final of the 2016 series of Britain's Got Talent as a member of dance troupe Boogie Storm, is playing the title role this season.

Lewis is currently training at Jelli Studios and has appeared in countless productions, including playing Wishy Washy in LHK's 2016 Epstein Theatre panto Aladdin.

Be sure to join LHK Productions and The Epstein Theatre this Christmas for Liverpool's best value panto, with tickets starting from just £11.
