Surreal comedian Paul Foot is making his first trip to Warrington's Pyramid next month and he is bringing his alter ego and sidekick pig with him.

In Paul's first new show in two years, Professor Ketchup and his camembert piglet join forces to tackle the big issues like terrorism, Ant and Dec, immigration, The X-Factor and breakfast, in a show intriguingly called Tis a Pity She's a Piglet.

The multi-award winner has appeared on numerous TV and radio programmes including Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Would I Lie to You, 8 Out of 10 Cats, If Katie Hopkins Ruled the World, Russell Howard's Good News and BBC Radio 4's The Infinite Monkey Cage.

Time Out magazine described him as "utterly outlandish" and said that "beneath layers of absurdity is Foot's sharp eye for satire".

And Edinburgh Festival magazine Three Weeks said: "He's a comedy whirlwind from the school of Spike Milligan. It's risky to call someone unique but Foot is certainly pretty close."

Tickets for the show at Pyramid Arts Centre on Saturday 11 November, 8pm, are on sale now.
