Charlie Hides To Host Pride Talent Competition At The Assembly Hall Theatre

RuPaul Drag Race's Charlie Hides will host a local drag queen, king and talent competition at the Assembly Hall Theatre on Friday 16th August at 7.30pm as part of the Tunbridge Wells PRIDE festivities.

In association with PRIDE and The Forum, the cabaret will feature some of the most exciting and entertaining new acts Tunbridge Wells has to offer. X-Factor finalist Bella Penfold will lead the judging panel, with the winner of the event being offered a performance slot at Pride Late at The Forum on Saturday 17th August.

The event is being run in aid of the Albert Kennedy Trust, a charity set up to prevent LGBTQ+ youth homelessness. At least £2.50 of every ticket will be donated to the charity.

Charlie Hides said today, "I am delighted to be coming to Tunbridge Wells to be part of the PRIDE celebrations on 16th August. It is especially important to me, as the event is supporting the valuable work of the Albert Kennedy Trust, set up to support young vulnerable LGBTQ+ people who may be facing homelessness."

Tickets are limited and go on sale today, Friday 19th July, at 4pm.

Tickets: £15

The age limit is strictly 18+

People wishing to enter the competition should go to Tunbridge Wells office PRIDE Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/TWpride/
