CHAMBER OF HORRORS Returns to Lovehistory Image

Prepare to go on a chilling journey in to the dark depths of St George's Hall when LoveHistory return next week with the spine-tingling, fright-night spectacular - Chamber of Horrors: Gallows Eve just in time for Halloween!

After the success of the previous Chamber of Horrors events in 2016 and 2017 it is back bigger, better, and more terrifying than ever before from Saturday 27 - Wednesday 31 October featuring brand new themes for the occasion.

As well as reliving gory scenes from some of Hollywood's scariest blockbusters, 2018 will also see the introduction of all new suspense filled stories, retelling the chilling events of those lost souls sent to the gallows at St George's Hall.

Complete with incredible visual and sound effects so realistic it will leave the skin crawling and shivers down the spine, it is the perfect experience for fans of horror.

Willing souls brave enough to enter will embark on a voyage through the cold, dark passageways and eerie cells of the historic Liverpool landmark building...but be warned: infamous characters from the darkest of Liverpool's history will be lurking in wait!

These unspeakable characters, said to haunt the building at night, will tell the tales of the horrors that lurk around every corner; lost, tormented creatures that are trapped between this world and the next, anxiously seeking escape.

This theatrical promenade performance provides not only the unique and terrifying experience of journeying through this historic building, but a team of professional actors provide a quality theatrical experience featuring scenes from the best of the horror genres.

Please be aware that this is not a jump out scare attraction but for those afraid of the dark, they may need to listen for things that go bump in the night!

Judy McLean, Creative Director of Lovehistory, said: "I cannot wait to bring Chamber of Horrors back to Liverpool this Halloween! St George's Hall is the perfect setting, it adds such an intense and chilling atmosphere. We have added new elements to this year's tours, with historic events from Liverpool's past being re-imagined with an added horror twist, as well as the return of popular Hollywood horror movie scenes re-created by our team of incredibly talented actors.

"The event has proved hugely popular in previous years, so if you are looking for something a little bit different this Halloween, look no further!"

Please note: This show is primarily for adults, but we do encourage families. Recommended age restrictions would be 15+ but anyone younger is at parent's discretion. It may contain language and content that will offend.
