All Star Productions to Present HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, May 6-24
All Star Productions are delighted to present a Rare Professional Revival of the 1961 Pulitzer and Tony Award winning Musical: HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING.
From the authors of GUYS AND DOLLS comes one of the most delightfully irreverent musicals of all time. A satire of big business and all it holds sacred.
It follows the rise of J. Pierrepont Finch, who uses a little handbook called How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying to climb the corporate ladder from lowly window washer to high-powered executive, tackling such familiar but potent dangers as the aggressively compliant company man, the boss' whiny, nepotistic nephew, the office party, backstabbing co-workers, caffeine addiction and true love.
The Show opened on Broadway in October 1961 with a run of 1417 performances, and in London's West End in 1963. The most recent Broadway revival in 2011 starred Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) as J. Pierrepont Finch. The cast will be announced shortly.
Creative Team: Director: Dawn Kalani Cowle; Musical Director: Aaron Clingham; Choreographer: Brendan Matthew; Casting: Benjamin Newsome; and Producer: Andrew Yon for All Star Productions Ltd.
The show will run at the Ye Olde Rose and Crown Theatre, 53 Hoe Street, London, E17 4SA. Closest Tube/National Rail: Walthamstow Central, Victoria Line. (5 mins walk).
