Adam Woodyatt Returns to the Wyvern Theatre's Pantomime PETER PAN

By:
The Wyvern Theatre, Swindon has announced that soap legend Adam Woodyatt will return to pantoland in Wiltshire and star in this year's high-flying family pantomime Peter Pan in the role of Captain Hook, Neverland's meanest man, from Saturday 2 December 2017.

Adam has been a staple of soap land for over three decades and in that time has won five British Soap Awards (including one for Best Actor) and was awarded Soap Personality of the Year by the Television and Radio Industries Club. Adam also regularly guests on TV game and panel shows and has hosted programmes such as Value For Money, Dreamhouse and National Lottery Live.

No stranger to the stage, Adam made his pantomime debut in Mother Goose at the Wyvern Theatre in 1989 and starred as the Wicked Queen's loveable, bumbling Henchman to critical and audience acclaim in Swindon's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 2015.

Adam Woodyatt said: "I'm thrilled to be back at the Wyvern this Christmas and can't wait to get my hook into pantomime once again. Swindon audiences are fantastic, always up for a great show and having a great time, and I can't wait to hear them boo and hiss my Captain Hook."

Wyvern Theatre Director Derek Aldridge said: "Adam is quite simply one of the most famous faces on TV and I am delighted to welcome him back to the Wyvern stage to play one of pantomime's iconic roles. I can promise that this year's production will be truly spectacular and will be the perfect Christmas treat."

Packed to the crows-nest with laugh-out-loud comedy, spectacular special effects, music, action and audience participation, audiences shouldn't delay in flying to the box office to hook their tickets for Swindon's number one pantomime today.

Adam Woodyatt will star in Peter Pan at the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon from Saturday 2 to Sun 31 December 2017. Book tickets today for the high-flying pantomime adventure at swindontheatres.co.uk or by calling the Ticket Office on 01793 524 481.
